Render I created for the March CGBoost Challenge. The theme was related to sky ships and immediately stempunk came to mind. Everything was modeled in Maya then substance painter for the texturing. Final render was done in Arnold with a few small tweaks in Photoshop for the small smoke stacks and the background. Since Arnold supports open vdb, I imported a few cloud vdb libraries to get some quick nice looking clouds in there. I enjoyed this challenge a lot and learned some cool new things. Looking forward to the next one!
